Foothill Model works has a new coal car kit in thier growing line of high quality, prototypically correct, all styrene car kits. This kit is designed to compliment thier On30/On3 flat car kits. This free-lanced coal gondola is typical of many such cars used on short line narrow gauge railroads in the first half of the twentieth century. The kit was designed and built following standard building practices of the day and closely follows the construction method used on the Colorado & Southern.
The cars come complete with Macleod Western trucks Kadee #26 couplers, Foothill Models Works, Macleod Western and San Juan details.
The kits retail for $45 each or in a 6 pack for $243
