Troels Kirk Realistic Color for Railroad Modeling

If you have been modeling in On30 for any time now you have probably heard the name Troels Kirk. Troels is a very talented landscape painter by trade living in Sweden. Troels has succesfully used his painting skills to create a wonderfully detailed and eye catching On30 model railroad “The Coast Line Railroad. Many techniques Troels used to create color on his railroad are shown in his new DVD “Realistic Color for Railroad Modeling”
Troels starts out by showing you the basics of paint and its aplication. He then shows you how to create a pallet of color and how to blend to create realistic tones for a variety of aplications. Troels discuses how he uses various techniques for structures, scenery and rolling stock. While Troels has been very generous with his time sharing and discussing his techniques on his blog and various forums this DVD really ties it all together. I found this DVD very well produced and the information was clearly explained. I felt confident about obtaining success with any of the techniques Troels presented.
